Finger Painted Nude

Finger Painted Nude presents a female figure rendered through intuitive gesture and layered surface. Soft, blended tones create a sense of intimacy and fluidity, while a restrained accent of orange introduces tension and visual focus. The composition balances abstraction and figuration, allowing touch and movement to remain visible within the finished work.

This work begins as an archival pigment print on canvas and is individually hand-finished with oil paint by the artist. Each piece is uniquely overpainted, resulting in subtle variations that make every work one of a kind within the edition.

A mixed media original combines a high-fidelity archival canvas base with extensive hand-painting in oil by Colleen Ross. Because every piece in the edition receives individual hand-application and unique painterly touches in the studio, no two examples are identical.
