About the Work & History
Fur Tea Wrap is a sophisticated mixed-media collage combining Colleen Ross’s expressive figurative oil painting with carefully hand-cut archival papers. The composition exudes elegance, luxury, and modern charm through a harmonious blend of tactile surfaces and rich imagery.
Layering handmade archival paper elements over oil pigments creates a compelling dimensional contrast, highlighting Ross’s signature ability to capture timeless glamour with contemporary graphic sensibility.
Intentionally offered as a studio study, this gallery-quality paper collage provides collectors with an accessible opportunity to acquire a unique, refined statement piece directly from the studio archive.
