About the Work & History
This still-life study depicts a plate of pears rendered with restraint and balance. Soft, harmonious tones and a classical sense of composition lend the work a quiet elegance, allowing form and color to unfold without excess.
Colleen Ross’s painterly touch and sensitivity to subtle color relationships bring warmth and depth to the composition, offering a timeless subject interpreted through a contemporary lens.
Intentionally offered as an open edition fine art print, this study provides collectors with an accessible entry point into acquiring artwork directly from the studio archive.
